A Cover's Story

It's always exciting to illustrate a cover. Whether it's a magazine, catalog, or book a lot rides on that one image and you always want to push it as far as it can go. But now, with tablet versions of these publications available, the cover image can be pushed even further~ it can move!

TIme for Kids' Creative Director Jen Kraemer-Smith recruited me to work on one of these animated covers for their Halloween issue. I provided all the illustrations and TFK designer Stephen Blue handled the animation.
